Headlining tonight we have the 1300cc Stock Cars English Championship with plenty of visiting drivers due to do battle with Spedeworth's best, plus we have the National Bangers all Volvo meeting, the Rookie Rods and the Street Stocks.

Rookie Rods

Heat 1 - 550 Terry Hannant, 665, 39, 650, 231, 646, 127, 348, 10, 322.

20 cars on track for the first Rookie Rod race, 337 Lee Wakeling the early pace setter but 665 Tim Moulton takes over, 550 Terry Hannant is flying again from the blues though and he's just taken the lead when the reds come out for a spectacular roll for 238 Chris Kenny, the driver is out OK and we're ready for the restart, and it's fairly regulation for Hannant as he takes the win.

Heat 2 - 646 Reece Beldom, 201, 245, 32, 322, 10, 550, 650, 238, 315.

201 Kieran Margetson is the early leader from 314, 646 Reece Beldom was charging hard from blue grade though and he manages to pass 201 on the outside with 5 to go and he takes the win.

Final - 550 Terry Hannant, 231 Dave Reed, 650 George Fitkin, 10, 238, 19, 322, 73, 315, NOF.

A yellow flag for a door off one of the cars, after that it's Terry Hannant who makes the move through again from blue grade and it's a heat and Final double for him meaning he needs to invest in some red paint before his next meeting!

1300 Stock Cars

English Championship - 23 Lee Pearce, 686 Pete Beldom, 363 Mark Skoyles, 40, 713, 64, 392, 653, 323, 53.

The grid draw sees 53 Paul Anscombe and 117 Ashley Kenny on front row, 40 Steven Marten and 752 Karl Douglas on row 2, 64 Mark Whybra could be dangerous from row 3, and defending champ 88 Jason Scopes will have to work hard to retain his title as he is back on row 13! 29 starters and it's an early battle between 53, 117 and 40, but Trackstar's 447 Richard Hampshire takes over from 573 and 23, 64 Whybra puts 573 away with 117 also going in hard and 323 Sam Rigby getting shoved into the back of the 117 car, then with only a lap to go 447 is spun by back marker 713 Ian Beaumont allowing 23 Lee Pearce through for the win!

Heat 1 - 686 Pete Beldom, 79, 363, 644, 569, 23, 171, 53, 232, 64.

28 cars for the first heat, 181 hits the pit gate hard and 447 Hampshire goes hard into a post on the pits bend bringing out the yellows, Richard is out ok but shaken and it's a lap sheet restart with 232 Daniel Wenn putting 40 Marten away, and Pete Beldom gets away this time to win.

Heat 2 - 232 Daniel Wenn, 23, 569, 323, 686, 79, 53, 371, 385, 752.

We're down to 20 cars for the last race of the day for the 1300cc Stock Cars, the heavy action from the first two races taking it's toll! Plenty of action again from the Stock Car boys and the yellows are out half way through for 47 Chris Partridge who hits the pit gate hard - the cobwebs are shaken out and we're off again for the restart and it's 232 Daniel Wenn who comes through for a full contact win!

National Bangers

Heat 1 - 69 Jonny Wilkinson, 86, 185, 753, NOF.

It's a comfortable win for Jonny Wilkinson, 86 Alec Savage can't catch him but 753 Billy Cunningham does his best to get in everyone's way and takes hits from 86 and 433 Ben Smith.

Heat 2 (Figure of 8) - 516 Carl Gould, 86, 753, NOF.

A highly entertaining figure of 8 race with the drivers putting on a show which the holiday makers in the main stand! Jonny Wilkinson was probably the star putting his 240 estate about all race!

Final - 86 Alec Savage, 516 Carl Gould, 753 Billy Cunningham, 433, NOF.

All cars manage to get out for this after some sterling pit work, Polly Reade gives 303 Matt Brown a head on, 433 Ben Smith laying into Polly and 753 Billy Cunningham blows up 433, Savage taking the win.

DD - 516 Carl Gould from 433 Ben Smith

5 for the DD wioth 753 and 69 gone early, Savage succumbs as well and it's left to Gouldy to finish off 433 for the win leaving Smith's Volvo estate much shorter!

Street Stocks

Heat 1 - 101 Kevin Plane, 133, 135, 83, 134, 700, 131, 620, NOF.

11 cars and a lively 1st race from the Street Stocks with a few hitting the fence the win going to Kevin Plane.

Heat 2 - 101 Kevin Plane, 700, 83, 1, 136, 620, 134, 334, NOF.

It's Plane sailing for 101 as he makes it a double in the Street Stocks in heat 2 - can he make it a hat-trick later on in the Final?

Final - 83 Billy Ray, 101 Kevin Plane, 135 Ian Dack, 1, 700, 620, 334, NOF.

It's not a hat-trick for Plane who chases down the leading 83 but Billy Ray does well to survive a last bend lunge and hang on for the win!
