21 Rookie Rods for their first heat of the night with points determining grid positions for the Norfolk Championship later this evening. 579 Dan Harris got away to a good start before fellow star man 650 George Fitkin took up the running, 127, 257 and then 238 all go in on the home straight and the race is brought to a stop, 238 suffers more damage after his roll last time and 257 Jason Fish needs assistance from the paramedics. Chris Kenny has gone to hospital and Jason Fish has been cut out of his car as a precaution as he was complaining of some back pain. We should be back under way soon and will bring you any news on the injured drivers later.

Finally racing resumes for the Rookie Rods, but not for long as 19 ends up in the fence along with 550 and its another stoppage, but both drivers are ok! Back racing again and 650 pulls clear from 579, 177 and 646 both have to push hard to pass the 245 car who keeps a very tight line but nearly 2 hours after the race starts 650 wins!

Heat 2 - 550 Terry Hannant, 135, 650, 245, 231, 427, 322, 10, 665.

Not surprisingly a very depleted field of Rookie Rods but yet more damage, 73 goes in hard after a collision with 579 resulting in another stoppage! Silver roof 135 Dan Knight has the lead but a brilliant drive from 550 Terry Hannant sees him take the lead, more yellows this time for 96, 177 and 309 who have all gone in on the slippery Caister bend!

Norfolk Championship - 650 George Fitkin, 135 Dan Knight, 231 Dave Reed, 4th null and void, 550, 177, 579, 427, 10, 19.

Down to 14 cars for the Norfolk Championship, and with the places in the earlier heats totted up it's 650 Fitkin on pole with 646 Reece Beldom alongside. It's 646 who gets the drop on 650 from the line and along with 135 they pull well clear, 650 gets alongside 646 on many occasions finally making his move stick with 4 laps to run to take the win!

Rookie Rod results amended 22/6 following removal of car 646 from results.

Ministox

Heat 1 - 115 Jack Miller, 129, 317, 118, 143, 316, NOF

The Ministox 1st heat with 118 Sadie Betts looking very smart in the ex 155 car,but it's fellow red roof 115 Jack Miller who takes the win by sticking the 143 Danny Hansford car in the fence on the very last turn.

Heat 2 - 143 Danny Hansford, 115, 129, 118, 316, 160, NOF.

A rather large crash in the ministox between 160 and 317, Lauren Overy taking the brunt of it but after a slight delay she is all ok! 129 heads them away but previous winner 115 wastes no time in passing him with 143 locked on the 115 back bumper and in a mirror image to race 1 143 gets past on the last bend to win it!

Final - 115 Jack Miller, 143 Danny Hansford, 129 Will Morphey, 118, 160, 316.

The same two dominate in this one but not so close this time as Jack Miller gets away and Hansford can't get close enough to affect the result!

Bangers

Heat 1 - 628 Kevin Taylor, 821, 888, 122, 245, 145, 486, 44, NOF.

12 bangers and 345 Darren Yates does an amazing triple roll before continuing on his way! 245 Brad Hudson plants the 129 Dan Chaplin car hard into the fence in a rather lively race! Kevin Taylor won a race at Ipswich last night and he's done it again tonight!

Heat 2 - 821 Jack Willard, 122, 628, 145, 445, 486, 345, NOF.

Another good race from the Bangers, Hudson and Chaplin both getting loaded for a mini DD on the infield.

Final - 122 Scott Piggin, 628 Kevin Taylor, 821 Jack Willard, 145, 445, 345.

A depleted field of Bangers for their Final, 122 races into an early lead to record yet another win, 628 keeps with him but has to settle for 2nd.

Street Stocks

Heat 1 - 133 Wayne Brown, 136, 700, 1, 333, 801.

The Street Stocks have a couple of moments in their opening race and it's 133 Wayne Brown who takes the flag.

Heat 2 - 136 Richard Brown, 1, 700, 333, 801, NOF.

With 133 missing this one it's left to 136 to take a comfortable win.

Final - 1 Shane Emerson, 700 Gareth Cushion, 133 Wayne Brown, 136, 333.

A closed up grid for the Street Stocks final sees the more experienced 1 take the win!
