Welcome to a dry and sunny Great Yarmouth Stadium for a rare 5-formula meeting, which tonight features the Rookie Rods in their East Anglian Championship, the National Bangers in the under 1600cc class and Round 2 of the Peter Brown sponsored East Anglian Championship, the Classic Hot Rods make their annual appearance in Norfolk in a warm up for Ipswich next week, the Junior Rods are with us as well, and last but not least we have the Street Stocks.
Rookie Rods
Heat 1 - 550 Terry Hannant, 326, 650, 19, 231, 111, 10, 177, 279, 127.
16 cars for the first heat and its 315 John Woodhouse that leads them away after the Incarace draw, but he is the first retirement of the night, 10 Adam Mason takes it up for a few laps but its 550 Terry Hannant who continues his recent run of good results taking a comfortable win ahead of 326 Ed Kennet.
Heat 2 - 231 Dave Reed, 550, 650, 111, 279, 526, 19, 10, 309, 73.
231 Dave Reed shows that Fiestas can still be competitive in Rookie Rods with a commanding victory in heat 2, half a lap clear of first race winner Hannant!
East Anglian Championship - 550 Terry Hannant, 231 Dave Reed, 650 George Fitkin, 111, 326, 19, 10, 526, 309, 279.
550 on pole for this one with 231 alongside, 650 and 111 completing the top 4, 550 takes a flag to flag win although under pressure throughout from 650 and 111 who both had turns at holding second spot before 231 finally got the place.
Classic Hot Rods
Heat 1 - 16 Pat Smith Jnr, 271, 161, 61, 30, 20, 8, 10, 37, 800.
12 Classic Hot Rods and it's 16 Pat Smith Jnr who roars into the lead and opens up a massive lead, 271 James Johnson and 161 Daniel Holden enjoy a good dice for the runner up spot but no doubting the winner who takes it by over half a lap!
Heat 2 - 271 James Johnson, 22, 16, 37, 10, 800, 61, 30, NOF.
271 James Johnson does his best to keep 16 at bay for much of heat 2, but a quality drive around the outside sees 16 out front once again, and he looks to have taken his second win of the night but both he and 161 are docked for jumping the start handing the win back to 271.
Final - 16 Pat Smith Jnr, 61 David Holden, 271 James Johnson, 30, 20, 161, 10, 22, 800, 37.
The Classic Hot Rod Final and its another comfortable win for 16 who gets the start right this time and takes the Heat and Final double.
Street Stocks
Heat 1 - 269 Scott Ewles, 136, 135, 134, 1, 92, 101, 133, 700, 334.
The best turnout of Street Stocks at Yarmouth to date with 12 for heat one, 269 Scott Ewles makes the most of his grid position and when the next 3 all go out in a heap his task is made easier as he takes a trouble free victory!
Heat 2 - 101 Kevin Plane, 92, 1, 700, 136, 269, 134, 333, 133, NOF.
Another good race for the Street Stocks and a stoppage when 334 finds himself upside down on the back straight, 101 Kevin Plane gets on with the winning!
Final - 92 Gavin Nicholls, 101 Kevin Plane, 133 Wayne Brown, 700, 136, NOF.
A very eventful Street Stocks Final with 134 suffering terminal damage after a heavy meeting with a post, Gavin Nicholls taking the win!
Junior Rods
Heat 1 - 315 Jarron Leah Amis, 441, 35, 56, 120, 386, 229, 169.
8 Junior Rods for their second appearance at the Caister Road venue and it's a win for 315 Jarron Leah Amis who had built up a big lead but was put under a lot of pressure in the closing stages by the star drivers 441 Reece Legrice and 35 Mitchell Souter.
Heat 2 - 315 Jarron Leah Amis, 441, 35, 56, 120, 229, 386, 169.
315 takes a very comfortable victory in the Junior Rods second heat which will see her starting futher back in the final.

A good race to end the evening for the Junior Rods, Jarron Leah Amis' chance of a hat-trick goes as she retires, leaving the way clear for 441 to record the win.
National Bangers
Heat 1 - 628 Kev Taylor, 122, 369, 98, 349, 247, 76, 145, 445, 432.
17 u1600cc National Bangers and very good they were too, 349 Michael Allard dealt with 16 Andy Hill, letting off at the last second, 245 Brad Hudson was also getting well involved with anyone who tried to get past, but it's Kev Taylor who takes the win.
Heat 2 - 349 Michael Allard, 145, 76, 122, 247, 445, 551, NOF.
Another good race for the National Bangers, 369 Jane Allard does a complete roll and continues on her way whilst brother Mike takes the win!
Final - 369 Jane Allard, 628 Kev Taylor, 309 Michael Lane, 445, 432, 551, NOF.
An action packed National Banger Final with 245 Brad Hudson and 247 Lee Clarke both involved in most of it! Jane Allard takes the win to match her brother's efforts in the earlier heat!
