20 cars for heat 1 of the Rookie Rods with 113 Dave Crouch in a half lap lead in the ex Ed Kennett car, the yellows coming out as 342 Alastair O'Brien hit the fence hard. The restart with 5 laps left, 113 pulled away again to win by the length of the straight and looks very fast.

212 John Smith and 246 Robbie Fincham have a coming together on turn 1 which sees 246 spin, 217 Joe Smith, 89 Gary Pope and 176 Andy Hedger all crash on the pit bend bringing out the reds, 14 Perry Osborne-Browne led from the restart but 113 caught him and passed for a clear win and a double so he's back a grade for the Final courtesy of his 2 wins so far tonight.

120 Cassie Balchin is out for the first time tonight after a late arrival and she is put away by 710 Kelly Dodge, 252 Nicky Wood catches 389 Valerie Palmer in the door bringing out the reds byt she is ok. 199 is out of this one so her winning run is at an end, Kelly Dodge takes the win from the restart in a race full of spins and action!

15 cars for the Bangers 2nd heat and a good race, 242 Rick Korpiela very lively including fencing 23 Mathew Fayers with several rent-a-rookie drivers crashing into 23. 106 took the flag but has been docked 2 places for corner cutting handing the win to 426 Mark Pope, but there is a steward's enquiry and Terry is reinstated into 1st place ahead of his Dreamers team mate 426.
